Single Rocks!

| April 30, 2010 7:44 pm

Don’t miss out on another SATURDAY night of mingling entertainment – this time in Tahuna.  We will take advantage of the sunny afternoon (weather dependent!) to have a beach wander before heading in from the cold to hot soup and fresh bread for only $7.50 if you’re wearing a Single Rocks name-tag.  If you’re one of the beach walkers, you’ll earn yourself a free hot drink at 623 On The Rocks as well as the discounted dinner.

Meet at 623 On The Rocks before 4pm on Saturday 15 May for a beach wander and chat.

Meet at 623 On The Rocks from 5pm on Saturday 15 May for Hot Soup and Fresh Bread with other singles over 30 in Nelson.

Invite your single friends and be prepared to meet lots of new people at this Duck Soup event.

May events

| April 19, 2010 12:52 pm

Wasn’t 623 pumping last networking night? I had fun and I hope you found someone interesting to talk to. Next time I encourage you to give your contact details to someone you’ve connected with so you can meet up during the month.

May’s networking event will be early next month – so please add Sunday 2 May to your calendar. As it’s getting cooler, 623 are starting their $10 Classic Kiwi Sunday Roasts again. Duck Soup will have a table from 7pm for you to join in and have dinner before we start networking. Look for the Duck Soup table sign – or if you’re super organised, call beforehand to book in on 548 6230.

Next month Duck Soup is promoting an event on Saturday 15 May which will start around 4pm and include dinner. Please block out this time in your calendar and forward to any of your friends that came along to the Dusk Till Dawn event.

Finally, I’m interested in hearing from any single mums with preschoolers or babies at home…. please email me for more information.

I’ll write again soon!

Amazing Night

| November 15, 2009 7:00 am

Thanks for an awesome time last night at Dusk Till Dawn. Over 170 singles (I stopped counting when I sat down for dinner…) grooving to the Nelson pulse on a Saturday night. Congratulations to our hosts The Free House, When In Rome, The Vic & Zatori where the welcome was warm and the drinks & food were delicious. I hope our out-of-town guests had a blast and will be back sooooon!

The Free House from 5pm Saturday

The response has been HUGE for Dusk Till Dawn on Saturday night – you’ll find plenty of new singles to meet when you come along to The Free House (95 Collingwood Street) any time between 5pm-7pm.

The registration process will be similar to a Duck Soup night where you collect a name-tag as you arrive. Please don’t be concerned about coming alone – most people will! You will also be given a flyer with a map and the following specials:

DuskTillDawnFlyer

If this is your first experience at one of the Duck Soup singles events, please sign up for the mailing list and you’ll be sent an invitation to other opportunities to get out and meet some new friends.

By the way – The Vic will have the football on TV from 8pm if you’re interested in catching the score.

See you Saturday….
