JazzFest Time!

Founders Jazz in the Park will be our first FAMILY Duck Soup event and we invite you to bring your kids/parents/family/grandkids etc on Saturday 3 Jan between 1pm-4pm to Founders Heritage Park in Nelson. The band Wellington Heads will be playing for a gold coin entry fee (kids free) with a spit roast on offer or bring a picnic. The brewery and cafe will also be open. Look out for the Duck Soup sign or txt Adrienne 021.480.212 if you can’t find us.

Afternoon Jazz in the Park at Washbourn Gardens in Richmond (before our Networking night in town) starts at 4pm on Sunday 4 January and features Nelson Jazz Club Big Band, Cactus Swing Band, The Velox Brothers and Brilleaux. Come along with your picnic tea (or buy something there), a chair or blanket and look for the cartoon duck sign to find the bunch of Duck Soup singles sitting together chilling out to some cool summer jazz (gold coin donation). Then head into town for more jazz at the House of Ales where we will combine our regular networking night with JazzFest08. (txt Adrienne 021.480.212 if you can’t find us!)

MONTHLY MINGLE:
January JazzFest Duck Soup Networking falls on Sunday 4 January and the House of Ales is hosting the awesome Wellington band Peter Shaw & The Blue 52. Come along and listen with us or cruise other nearby venues in town hosting live Jazz bands with your Duck Soup friends – meet from 7.30pm at the House of Ales – look for Adrienne & her Duck Soup sign with more details on the night.

Please give an idea of your intention to attend any of these events to help our planning.

“There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.”  Denis Waitley said that and it may mean more right now than at any other moment in our lifetime. There’s no doubt about it… Things are tough for some people right now, and they may be getting even tougher.
