Idealism

If something is ideal then it is, or is at least nearing, perfection – that is to say for you. Your ideal may not be my ideal. Idealism is subjective but within anyone’s idealism is goodness.

In the life coaching business it is critical to assist our clients to get clear about their values and move towards “their ideal life.” What can you do each day, we ask, to move you closer to your ideal relationship with your spouse, your ideal body weight, your ideal career or financial picture?

Practicing idealism is not about “being” perfect. It is about the ever-striving towards your own idea of perfection. Each day, being aware of doing something better, speaking with more love, having more patience, following your heart and not your emotions are examples of how to active the idealism energy.

When you practice idealism you are adding to the collective “good” or “God” consciousness that has the power to transmute those who choose to set their own bar at a very low level.

This week notice where you are settling for the bare minimum. Where are you complacent or have given up on your ideals. Raise the bar this week just one notch, and then another and another as the weeks and months go by.

The pursuit of perfection is encoded within our spiritual nature but it can only be activated by our highest heart desires and our actions do make them manifest.

And by the way… start expecting more from those around you too. They’ll thank you in the long run and you can acknowledge yourself for being a catalyst for raising the vibration in this world!
