Movie & Dinner this Saturday 30 May

I’ve been looking forward to seeing Angels & Demons after recently renting The Da Vinci Code – however, there are other movies ending around the same time on Saturday evening if you prefer:
- Angels & Demons 6.10pm (finishes 8.30pm)
- Star Trek 6.30pm (finishes 8.35pm)
- In Search of Beethoven 6pm (finishes 8.20pm)
- Topp Twins 7pm (finishes 8.25pm)
- The Reader 6.20pm (finishes 8.25pm)
- The Grocer’s Son 6.40pm (finishes 8.10pm)
- Defiance 5.50pm (finishes 8.10pm)
- Night at the Museum 2 6.10pm (finishes 8pm)
I have made arrangements for us to have dinner at Mango on Hardy Street. If your chosen movie finishes early, you’re welcome to make your way to the restaurant to mingle before being seated at the Duck Soup table at 8.45pm.

After dinner there is live music at the Vic Brewbar & at the House of Ales from 10pm if you’d like to walk over with us for a coffee/drink.
At this stage there is interest in both Angels & Demons and The Reader. Please arrange your own tickets (www.statecinemas.co.nz) and we’ll meet in the State Cinema lobby before the movie. I have three tickets for Angels & Demons in back row seats I7 (Adrienne), I8 (Niall) & I9 (Tony) to start us off.
