Sunday 3 May – Networking Night

| April 29, 2009 9:46 pm

Our low-stress, mingling-practice networking night is on again THIS SUNDAY!  I’ll be there after walking the Nelson Half-Marathon that morning – so what’s your excuse???  See you at 7.30pm at the House of Ales on Sun 3 May – a Mixologist will meet you at the door. Don’t forget to bring your Free Glass of Wine voucher from last month!

On another note, my brother and his wife, Jonna Tamases from Los Angeles are taking advantage of the great airfares available at the moment and coming to visit us in Nelson next month.

Jonna is a Hollywood actress and has chosen to perform her one-woman show whilst in New Zealand with ALL proceeds to the NZ Cancer Society.  Moving, funny and always entertaining, “Jonna’s Body, Please Hold” is the brainchild of Jonna Tamases who, after her third bout with cancer, brought her story to life – and to the stage. She will be in Auckland, Wellington and at The Suter here in Nelson on Wednesday 20 May.

If you’ve had cancer, know someone who has cancer or is a caregiver for someone with cancer, this show will uplift and inspire – her incredible story is simultaneously side-splitting funny and tear-jerking tragic.

Please share this email invitation with your friends and purchase your $20 tickets from The Suter (548 4699) or the Nelson Cancer Society (539-3662) or from Adrienne at the next Duck Soup networking night at the House of Ales and I’ll see you there.

“Captivating … Thoroughly original … Hilarious” – Daily Variety
“Witty … Delightful … Unabashedly theatrical” – LA Times
“Jonna stole my heart … Heartfelt, funny and poignant” – Showmag.com
