Celebrate being single over the holidays and join us for a stroll along Tahuna Beach before heading over the road to 623 On The Rocks for two-for-one coffees & cocktails (special for Duck Soup). Join us for either the walk (6.30pm), or the bar (7.30pm or so), or both depending on your schedule.
Meet at the Abel Tasman statue at the Tahunanui Beach carpark closest to Rocks Road. We’ll wait for a few minutes after 6.30pm – otherwise try to catch up and we’ll turn around eventually!

There is NO SURCHARGE at 623 On The Rocks on Boxing Day so you might consider having dinner too – here is a link to their summer menu.
I’ve had lots of people calling and emailing for info about the beach walk – including a few out-of-towners in Nelson for the Christmas break. So bring along your unattached relatives from out of town if they are here as well – or phone a single friend you know is up for a night out.
If you’d like to register your intention to come along (no obligation) – please fill in the following form:
If you’d like more information, or have some ideas for Duck Soup – please call Adrienne on 544-2088.

One Response to “Boxing Day Beach Walk – 6.30pm”
I would just like to thank Adrienne for organizing this event because I know she has family commitments and it was Boxing Day! She made a great social gathering fun and encouraging for singles like me who have been hiding at home too long not bothering to get out and meet people enough. I kept finding just another thing to do to put off making an effort to get out and socialise and failed to meet at the start of the walk. However, thanks to Adrienne, I still managed to walk the beach and catch up with the group at 623 for dinner and a cocktail. It’s so easy to make excuses for not being ready to go to an event, make life so busy then we don’t have to face a possible social disappointment. I am very pleased I was encouraged to attend this gathering and it was mainly due to Adrienne for being a great organizing. I enjoyed the evening. Cheers A, another beach walk please!
